• Import bitmap image (after processing (contrast...etc) in Gimp
• Transform to vector: Path > Trace bitmap
• Simplify (Path > Simplify)
• cleanup: delete original image, no fill, set stroke, resize canvas (select, edit > resize to selection)
• Extensions > AxiDraw Utilities > Hatch fill
• Extensions > AxiDraw Utilities > Plot optimisation
